입체적인 작업을 하면서 나에겐 공간이란? 하나의 삼차원적 구조 공간을 떠나서 캠퍼스의 공간 같았다. 공간을 채워가는 수많은 선들, 선은 나를 공간으로 끌고 왔다. 점, 선, 면 은 우리의 공간을 지배한다는 것이다. 그리고 공간 안에는 무수히 많은 점이 선을 이루고 면을 만들어 공간을 만든다는 것이다. 그리고 그 선을 시작으로 모든 공간에 다양한 이야기를 그려 낼 수 있다는 것이다.

  어느 날 서울의 경복궁을 따라 북촌 서촌등을 걸어 다니며 그 지붕을 내려다 보니 선과 선을 이어서 과거와 현재를 이어가는 무수한 지붕의 선들을 이어가 본다. 과거의 집들이 모여 현재의 삶으로 이어가는 느낌이 들었다. 나에게 작업은 현재의 내가 보고 느낀 감정을 작업으로 표현한다. 그 작품 하나하나를 엮어서 다시 미래로 삶의 형태로 이어간다.

What is space for me while working in three dimensions? It was like a campus space away from one three-dimensional structure space. Many lines and lines that fill the space have led me into space. The dots, lines, and faces dominate our space. In other words, many dots form lines in the space and create a space by making faces. And starting with that line, you can draw a variety of stories in every space.

 One day, while walking along Gyeongbokgung Palace in Seoul, I looked down at the roof of Bukchon and Seochon, and found countless roof lines connecting the past and the present. I felt that the houses of the past gathered together and connected to the present life. For me, work expresses the feelings that I feel when I see it. Each piece of work is tied together and connected to the future again.
